Werner-Boyce Salt Springs S.P.  8:00 AM Ken Tracy will lead a walk of about 3 miles through the salt barrens.  The park entrance is at the very end of SR 52 WEST of U.S. 19.  It is right next to the parking for U.S.A. Flea Market.

Weeki Wachee Preserve. ( We can drive in on the 2nd. Saturday)  Also, Bayport and Hernando Beach.  Option to continue to the Rook Trail in Homosassa Tract. 
Meet 7:30 a.m. in the Sweet Bay parking lot on the corner of Rt. 52 and Little Road.
April 12, 2008 Art in Nature Chapter members will display their crafts and interests as they relate to nature.
Sat. April 19, 2008 
Fort De Soto Park.  We will search for orioles, tanagers, warblers and other migrants in the East Beach Woods, Mulberry Trees and Arrowhead picnic area.
Meet 7:30 a.m. in the parking lot next to Burger King at Moog Rd. and U.S. 19.

Field Trip General Information

Anyone interested in birding or nature in general is welcome to join us on field trips.  Almost all are free.  Registration may be required, check the schedule for details.  Dress for the weather and prepare to be outdoors for about 4 hours.
